2234 New Concession Stand & Restroom Facility, Wesson Park, Saltillo #12131

This Project is for the New Concession Stand & Restroom Facility at Wesson Park, Saltillo, Mississippi. The work will consist of removing the existing Restroom building, Site work, that will need to be coordinated with a Civil Engineer. Relocation of an existing septic tank and fill lines. Slab on grade construction with underground plumbing and
electrical. CMU block construction, wood rafters and metal roof. Plumbing fixtures are to be “prison” style, as base bid, and a deductive alternate to show standard fixtures. LED lighting with occupancy sensors. Hollow Metal doors and frames. Roll up concessions window. Countertops.

2. PRE – BID CONFERENCE
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the site to provide onsite inspection and review of the intended work program. (This will be by Addendum No. 1)

3. RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BID
Sealed bids for the Wesson Project will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall 395 East Mobile Street, Attn: Mary Parker, Saltillo, Mississippi 38866, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, Oct 13, 2022 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read

4. BID ENVELOPE
Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor’s current Certificate of Responsibility Number and the Contractor’s License Number. Envelope containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed as follows: NEW CONCESSION STAND & RESTROOM FACILITY

5. ONLINE BIDDING
Plans and specifications are being made available via original paper copy and electronically. Plan Holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.cityofsaltillomsbids.com. Questions regarding website registration and online
orders please contact Plan House at 662-407-0193. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Proposals shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.cityofsaltillomsbids.com under

6. BID BASIS
Bid will be on a lump sum basis, all general construction and related work as shown or noted on Plans. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to reject any, and all bids and to waive any, and all informalities.

7. CONSTRUCTION TIME
The total Contract Time shall not exceed 120 consecutive calendar days.
